About greencount.ai

greencount.ai is an independent information hub for sustainability work across urban and rural India. We highlight plantation projects, lake and water-body rejuvenation, research publications, and supporting policy documents.

The site combines two layers of content:

• Curated catalog — hand-reviewed project and document entries stored in the repository with source links.
• Auto-updated feeds — a scheduled job fetches public RSS sources, filters for India-relevant sustainability keywords, and writes a refreshable updates stream.

We are not a government portal, not a complete census of every project in India, and not a substitute for official environmental clearances or NGO due diligence. Always verify facts with primary sources linked on each page.
